Brothers and sisters, we should always thank God for you. The Lord loves you. God chose you from the beginning.
He wanted you to be saved. Salvation comes through the Holy Spirit's work. He makes people holy. It also comes
through believing the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 NIRV

Let God Arise Ministries enjoyed another successful year ministering to those in our local county, city & federal jails. We have witnessed Jesus
Christ save over 20,779 souls since September 1992 with an average per year of 1094 inmates receiving Jesus Christ as their personal Lord &
Savior. LGAM is entering 20 years of ministry in 2012.

We begin this New Year with a letter of appreciation and a heartfelt thank you to all of you who have faithfully supported God's outreach
mission to those in prison with your time, prayers and sacrificial gifts of love to Jesus Christ. Many inmates faithfully attend chapel services
and to witness the Lord ministering His unconditional love to them warms our hearts. Our thanks to those who give of their time through
volunteering to minister to the inmates is greatly appreciated.

I would like to take this time to remember several Christian men who had a strong impact on my life and I know their lives touched many
during their earthly journey. In the bible Hebrews 12:1 reads, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Mike Vinson
(Glynn Wood Baptist). I knew Mike from ALFA Insurance corporate office in Montgomery Al. where I teach a bible study. Mike was a very positive
and encouraging brother in Christ. He never had anything negative to say about anyone. He also had a very keen wit and funny sense of humor.
He loved his family, church and work and always kept a right perspective about life. Mr. Ed Welsh Sr.(Grace Pointe Church of Christ) was
perhaps one of the most influential men I have personally know. What I will always remember about Ed was his strong Christian character,
persuasive words and positive attitude. Ed's love of life, church and family were know by all who knew him. Mr. William Pou Nunn III
(Trinity Presbyterian) was a gentle, peaceful and kind man. He carried a very calming effect in his personality and was a Southern gentleman.
Bill was perceptive and a good listener. Like Mike and Ed, Bill loved his family, church and had wonderful work ethic. Even though these three
men belonged to different denominations one trait they had in common was their love, devotion and personal relationship with Jesus Christ and
was exemplified by all who knew them.

Mike, Ed and Bill will be greatly missed. One day we will be with them again in heaven. What a day that will be! Please visit our dedication
and Memorial page tagged Miriam James Memorial on LGAM website www.letgodarise.org
Again our thanks for your love and support. The Lord bless & keep you & your families this New Year 2012!!! Love always,
Tom & Beth
